About
A room lit by honesty.
Under the Lamp is a late-night, anonymous space built for women — to say the things that don't fit anywhere else.
Why it exists
There are thoughts that live in your head for years. Things you need to say out loud, but nowhere feels safe enough. Not group chats. Not social media. Not even close friends — because being known changes what you're willing to say.
Under the Lamp is that space. Anonymous, quiet, and alive only at night — when the honest version of you tends to surface.
The night rule
The house opens at 10:00 PM and closes at 4:00 AM. We chose the night deliberately.
The dark changes things. The city goes quiet, the performance of the day falls away, and something more honest tends to come out. That's what we're here for.
How anonymity works
In public Rooms, you have no name. Your display name never appears. No profile. No history. Just your words, and the words of the women beside you.
Private Circles are different — you invite the people you trust, and your name is visible to them. That's the one place where being known is the point.
Who it's for
Under the Lamp is built for women, 18 and over. No exceptions. This is a space with clear boundaries, and that's intentional.
We're not trying to be everything. We're trying to be one thing well: a place where women can speak freely, without fear of judgement, without performance, without pretence.
The people behind it
We're a small team. We moderate carefully, respond quickly, and take safety seriously. We built this because we needed it ourselves.
